DIRECTIONS to La Paloma


April 3rd our Church moves to a new location for our Sunday Morning Worship time. We enjoyed our season at Lake Pointe Elementary and Miss Julies Learning Center and thank God for our time there and the relationships we have with the staffs.

God has now led us into a new season on Sundays.

WHAT IS CHANGING: Where we meet on Sunday morning. We are now meeting at La Paloma Event Center. This will allow us to worship in a beautiful setting (open air when weather permits). This space will be beautiful for worship, and be more conducive to fellowship as a church family.

We have also changed the nature of our Sunday Worship. We realized that Sunday needed to be more about "connecting". That means connecting to God, connecting to each other, and connecting to what happens during the week. That led to some changes. We now build worship around families. Children and youth particiapte in our worship and prayer time so we can all connect to God together. We are also using an interactive teaching time. This allows people not to just hear a sermon - but to interact with the thoughts and lessons that God's Word brings to our hearts and minds. Finally - we try to bring stories of what God is doing in our lives during the week - so that we see Sundays are not church, Sundays are when the church gathers together to be strengthened and supported for what God is doing Monday through Saturday.

WHAT IS NOT CHANGING:
Our commitment to serve the community and to take Jesus into our community and the world stays the same. Our heart is to live out our faith during the week, connecting with people in the community to bring the love of God into everyday life.

Our commitment to not only study the Bible but apply it so we live by its truth. We dream
of a day when it is a common sight to see people gathered around God's Word everyday of the week all over the community.
