I look forward to joining with you as we begin a new study of the book of 1st Timothy. Starting May 1st we will begin going through the book and discovering the truths God has for us today.

Paul cared deeply for his friend and co laborer Timothy. Paul used encouragement, practical instruction, and challenges to guide Timothy and help keep him on track serving the Lord. The same words have deep meaning for us today - as we seek what it is to follow Jesus Christ and serve him in our community and our world.

1 Timothy 3:8 says “Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.” Let us embrace this teaching as training for godliness - that we may live the life God has called us to live.
